Fior Wine Dinner Series at
Fior D'Italia Restaurant

The oldest Italian restaurant in the US is San Francisco's Fior D'Italia (Bloom of Italy), located at 2237 Mason Street, it first opened in 1886 and has a long history, including one year serving San Franciscans under a tent, after the 1906 Great Fire.
The venerable restaurant is currently holding a series of wine dinners entitled "The 2007 Fabulous Fior Wine Dinner Series", consisting of spectacular $100-per-person five-course meal, including tax and gratituity, prepared by award winning Chef, Gianni Audieri, paired with wines from some of the best California vineyards. Winemakers will be present at the meals to present the featured wines, making the experience personal, enlightening and educational for the guests.

The last dinner in the series presents wines from Sonoma's Seghesio Vineyards, on August 30, with he special guest, Pete Seghesio Jr., back by popular demand.
Seating is limited and reservations are being taken on a first-come-first-served basis (tel. 415-986-1886). Pre-payment is required to hold the reservation. Guests should plan to arrive at 6:30pm for each event.
